Welcome to my Football Manager Blog, the main purpose of this blog is to provide updates on the status of my Football Manager Skins & Guides Website

If you have any questions or queries then I can generally be found in the Skinning Forum at the Official Sports Interactive Forums, though I'd ask you to open a new thread rather than sending me a message.

To help with navigation I have included indexes of my content for the last few versions of Football Manager in the tabs below.

New Guide - Skinning Guide: The Basics

Whilst we are awaiting infomation regarding FM2009, I've decided to get around to typing up various guides I've been meaning to do:

The latest one is a quick guide to introduce people to skinning - more advanced ones will hopefully follow in the future. You can access the guide by following this link.

Guides Section Added

I've finally got around to finishing off a full guide on how to make logos. Follow this link to download it in various formats or view online.

The guide is mainly for Photoshop CS2, so if you use a different program the menus and commands maybe in different places and have different names, I hope to sometime in the future update it to include various other programs.

The guide includes Chapters on how to clean up and prepare the images you obtain from the web, then how to make them into Standard Logos and Rotated Logos, I've also included two action files for Photoshop - one for Standard Logos and one for Rotated Logos that make it easier and quicker to make logos.

For more infomation follow the link to the Guides section of my website.

New Logos Added - Euro Non-League Clubs & Welsh Clubs

I figured I never did explain why my site wasn't updated for several months - it was a combination of things - Whilst installing Windows Vista, Vista decided to randomly wipe one of the partitions on my Hard Drive (The one that held most of my files), I did manage to recover most of the data (well nearly 100gb from a 92gb partition - various deleted files were also recovered), however the directory structure, modification date and some filenames were lost, aswell as various files being corrupted so it took awhile to sort it all out. Thankfuly I've got most of it sorted out. Other things included not finding the time or being in the mood to make logos (it's a rather time consuming hobby) also people selling my stuff on ebay yet again didn't help.

So with the new season upon us soon and FM09 only a few months away, I've decided to wait and see what if any changes FM09 brings before throwing myself back into the logos fully, I'll spend the next couple of months gathering up logos ready for the new season.

Until then I'll see about finishing off a few packs I had in progress, as I had a couple of packs in progress when I had Hard Drive problems a few months ago, the first couple I've finished off:

(NOTE: The European Non-League packs are both nearly 20megs in size, so using a download manager may be advised)

Rotated08 European Non-League Club Logos - Includes Background, Huge, Normal and Small Logos for 347 European Non-League Clubs on FM2008.

Rotated08 Welsh Club Logos - Includes Background, Huge, Normal and Small Logos for 41 Welsh Clubs on FM2008.

Standard08 European Non-League Club Logos - Includes Background, Huge, Normal and Small Logos for 347 European Non-League Clubs on FM2008.

Standard08 Welsh Club Logos - Includes Background, Huge, Normal and Small Logos for 41 Welsh Clubs on FM2008.
